Located just meters from Calle Portal d'Angel and Plaza Catalunya, the central square of Barcelona's historic "Barrio Gotico," this hostel is ideally situated for any visit to Barcelona. All forms of travel through Barcelona originate from Plaza Catalunya, so travel is a cinch! Arriving from the airport is easy, simply take the Renfe directlyfrom the airport to plaza catalunya for as little as 70 cents, or the airport shuttle will drop you off one block from your hostel for less than 3 Euros.

As if the incredibly central location wasn't enough, our attractive single and double rooms have a large common living area (with a television and snack vending machines), as well as a large outdoor terrace.

With all the cheap restaurants within meters of the door, you might not even get a chance to take advantage of our fully equipped kitchen, for travellers on a budget. Also available is a coin operated washing machine and a public telephone.

The OVNI gives the name Internet Cafe a whole new meaning! This is a full restaurant with complete buffet and a table at the entry where all guest that eat there get to use the internet on one of the many computers they have available. I can't say enough about this place, and you have to see it to believe it. Even though the management statement is that you should buy a full price buffet to use, I have many a times gone for a visit at night, had only a coffee and stayed on the internet for a few hours, undisturbed by anyone... and I was not alone!

If you plan on needing the internet cafe, there is a few closer to the hotel, but this is worth the 3 blocks you have to walk.
